Public Access & CTC Grants
In 2008, Deproduction was the recipient of a Knight News Challenge
award aimed at a long-term goal of helping Public Access TV stations
and Community Technology Centers better cooperate as a nation-wide
user-driven network. At the core of this grant is the collection and
implementation of a set of open-source tools developed by DOM and
others aimed at expanding the role of the community and streamlining
much of the workload of a Public Access station or CTC.
Organizational Memberships for Educational Agencies

If an organization can be classified as an educational agency*, for $1,000 they receive:
Editing/Computer Lab Policies
*All equipment used under a membership, whether free or at reduced member rates, must be used to create programming that will air on DOM channels.
The computer stations are used by both FCP certified members and members who ingest and DOMinize programs for air on DOM channels.
Studio Policies

The Denver Open Media facilities are a shared space. Users must respect the needs of other members and representatives/clients of the other building inhabitants. Members are expected to make sure their guests follow all rules and procedures of DOM. Members will be held accountable for the actions of their guests.
Field Equipment Policies
*All equipment used under a DOM membership, whether free or at reduced member rates, must be used to create programming that will air on DOM channels.
Fairness Doctrine
Deproduction and Denver Open Media believe in the equal right for everyone to have a voice in their community. We believe that the more diverse the discourse of a society, the better informed we are and better able to make good decisions. We believe no organization or individual should have the right to determine which ideas do and do not have an opportunity to be heard.
