Mix up the programming -- it’s the same old boring shows week after week. For example this episode of Vlog TV (I cannot even vote on, because then it gets shoved up are ass, even it’s a one star rating); I’d like to see a different episode, this is such an exciting show, but this one sucks. Why? All it does is show and encourage others to be bullies. What happened to all the great shows this station airs? At one time I would tune-in, now I just check when my show is on (The Groove zone)… Which Brian Tatum needs some new episodes too? OK, some I understand have the highest votes and rating, but others just have no votes or poor ratings and guess what happens?????????????
Nation Of Islam (NOI) why would someone promote this show? Why not promote militia of today, or in the past MARX, Hitler, Timothy McVeigh, etc… I want to be open-minded and believe in your cause. I don’t think it’s a problem when you want to express Traditional Islamic beliefs, which, stand in stark opposition to the entire theological and creedal foundation of the Nation of Islam. Many "Islam’s" have very little to do with "Islamism," that militant, extremist fringe of Islam which, despite its claim to "traditionalism," actually violates such perennial Islamic values as tolerance, forbearance, hospitality, and broad-mindedness. However when it comes to the group calling itself the "Nation of Islam", one must be very wary indeed. Wake up!

However the Errant Theology of the "Nation of Islam” believe that God appeared on earth in the person of their founder, a "great man from the East", Master W. Fard Muhammad, a preacher. Moreover, the NOI is an organization exclusively for black people descended from slaves. The NOI has a pronounced anti-white bias. They call for a separate homeland for American blacks, and for a ban on interracial marriage. The present "Nation of Islam" leader, Louis Farrakhan, has referred to Judaism as a "gutter religion". The Nation of Islam is racist and hateful and is a mirror image of the KKK...

It is a self-proclaimed defender of the black man; the organization has racist beliefs and a racist agenda; they are self-styled defender of Islam, but it denies what Islam teaches. The NOI is condemned by Muslims, but it uses Islamic symbols such as the crescent. They claim to believe in the Muslim God. They wear "Muslim" costumes: skullcaps and gowns. As a relative of former Governor Ralph Carr, and a native of southeastern Colorado with a first hand understanding in regards to the plight of Japanese Americans wrongfully interned, I am enlightened to see programming such as the ACLU presentation which portrays an unbiased perspective without ties to negative attacks that only incite more hatred. The purpose of Denver Open Media is to represent all viewpoints from a peaceful open forum for discussion, which allows all parties to be heard without prejudice or judgment. If you don’t allow such open forums for people to express themselves, whether it is based upon fears of the unknown or fear of taking a risk, how will you ever know what the unknown might be?

He suggests that this United States of America, made up of sons and daughters of immigrants (I'm talking of the millions of 1st, 2nd, 3rd generation immigrants in this country) of every race, creed, color and religion each and everyone of them who had nothing to do with slavery, somehow owe something to a group of people who have never been slaves. It's amazing. It seems everyone is to blame for the shambles black society is in with its violence, drugs, high school drop out rates, misogyny, and a host of other real and virulent problems, except for the very people who engage i n such behavior.
Enough. As a society, culture or people, they should look within themselves and fix their problems.
When did this man become the spokesman for the 'black church'? And of course his church is different, but that doesn't mean his message and philosophy is acceptable, or productive or non-offensive or not-racist or indicative of our greater cultural behaviors, values and norms as Americans.
And yes, the link between this man and Obama really does matter. At a very minimum, it provides insight into the political and philosophical strain that Obama adheres to.

It is good to see different views on current subjects, but...
What does all of this "agenizing" really have to do with this DOM page that is the platform for voting on the shows on the air? It isn't even close to the next election and already I am very tired of the political proselytizing thus far. PLEASE - make a show that describes or provides Mr. Cosby's views (or any respected speaker for that matter) so that I can get it first hand and then VOTE on it. I do not mind paraphrasing, but I want to hear or see it for myself. Then maybe we can get back to the real intent of the voter page comments.
I have a real bad feeling about Obama, and it is not because he is black. The way he was raised to start out. He says he is not of his parents faith any more. Well his family still is. Any man that won't salute our flag, and wants to change the very foundation we based our country on needs to be shipped out of this county, not elected to the top office. God gave people a sixth sense to fear danger when you can't see it. God has never led me astray so far and at 63 I don't think he is going to start now. If Obama gets elected in I fear for everyone in this country. I feel that the gas we are buying at top dollar is paying the enemy to buy weapons to kill our young men now. United we stand and divided we will fall. I prayer the American people will see this wolf in sheep clothing and not put him in office. I feel he is the devil's disciple trying to jump start Armageddon.

This show is scheduled to air 4 times a day on Channel 57 and 219. It airs as a livefeed from Freespeech's and cannot be re-run. Sorry. There are many other great shows to vote on and some with Amy Goodman as well!
I agree with the station that if the public does not like something that they could change the channel, but I disagree that the station staff should attack back with anger and see these same "virtues" in their heart or soul, by looking into the mirror too! Especially, after they ask the public to vote and comment. If you don’t like all viewpoints and opinions then you can remove the voting system from your website….

Also to report abuses by this station go to the city and county telecommunication web- page. Since this station says that they believe in the equal rights for everyone to have a voice in their community. They claim that this institution is not evil? And that they are not interested in combating it (or anything else). Their belief is that the world would be a better place if the barriers to free speech and communication were removed, and their social dialogue truly represented the diversity of the people. However, this station shows
that they are just as bias and one sided (mean-spirited- bitter people).
Therefore, CFMR you should take your complaint and report abuse of Tax payers’ money to the City & County of Denver, who is the stewards of the Public Access Television Station funds. Public Access is a City Service and Information Channel. That is managed by the city and county.

None of the shows on 56 are scheduled by staff (100% community driven) and on 57 only two daily news shows, Mosaic and Democracy Now along with a few occasional specials are scheduled by staff.
You have assumed in error that a station staff member responded "in anger". I am the respondent and I was not then, nor am I angry now. I am also not a staff member. So it is apparent that you are small minded, in that no one can disagree with you or you will "tell on them!" Grow up and realize that in a true democracy there will be disagreements. There are no "abuses" just your fear of someone elses ideas.
I see that free press media is no different then main stream media... It is so narrow minded when it come to politics and the media. Don't tell me how to vote. I don't like Obama and the truth will be exposed by the republicans, that he is a radical extremist no different then the KKK. But I can see that this station is about hate. I agree that this station seems to be using Denver Taxpayers' dollars to slant their take, no different that the mainstream media. Hillary Clinton did not have a chance in this male dominated world that we claim is so equal. Women have made strides, but the reality is that women truly don't stand a chance in this sexist world. Men still treat women as a substandard being, where their pay is still not equal that of a man. Open means representation of all sides, not just the side you choose to represent. Get it......
San you see past the veil of contempt for yourself and by reference the human race in general? Vote for what you like and/or don't like or change the channel to whatever bias that agrees with you. The insider says he frequently objected to Mr. Obama's placement of Cynthia K. Miller, a member of the Nation of Islam, as the Treasurer of his U.S. Senate campaign. When I contacted Miller, now a Chicago real estate agent, to verify whether she was a member of the Nation of Islam and whether she shared Louis Farrakhan's bigoted views about Jews, she responded, "None of your business! Where are you going with this?" She said her resignation as Obama's treasurer had nothing to do with her Nation of Islam ties. Then, she hung up.
The Obama insider says he also objected to Obama's involvement with Jennifer Mason, whom he says is also a member of the Nation of Islam. Mason is Obama's Director of Constituent Services in his U.S. Senate office and is also in charge of selecting Obama's Senate interns. She did not respond to repeated calls for comment.
But it's not just that he employed these individuals in positions of power in his office, it's that when the former associate raised objections, he says Mr. Obama's position was that he saw nothing wrong with the Nation of Islam and didn't think it was a problem. If true--and the fact that Ms. Mason still holds her prominent Obama Senate staff position bears that out--Obama's condemnation of Farrakhan, this month, is phony.
But the insider says there is more to it than that. Obama's Illinois State Senate district consisted of prime Nation of Islam territory, including Hyde Park, home to Farrakhan's mansion. It is not possible, Illinois politicos say, to win that district without the blessing of the NOI leader. NOI members, including consultant Shakir Muhammad, held important roles in the Obama state senate campaign.

Then, there is the issue of Israel. When Obama first ran for the U.S. Senate, he gave militant responses to the Chicago Jewish News about Israel. Obama denounced Israel's fence--which he called a "wall" and "barrier to peace"--to keep out terrorists and favored working with Yasser Arafat. When members of the Chicago Jewish community circulated his responses, Obama said that the answers were not his positions, but the work of a low-level intern. He submitted new answers. But that was a lie, the insider says. In fact, they were the work of Obama's Policy Director, Audra Wilson. Moreover, Obama told the insider that he blamed the Mideast conflict on the Jews:
Barack told me that he felt that Jewish community was too inflexible, and that was why the situation in the Mideast could not be resolved.
This is the man who says in a new campaign ad that Hillary Clinton will say anything but change nothing. Barack Obama will say anything, but change his answers.
If you understand the Denver Open Media platform, and the emphasis on "open" you may see as I do, that your assessment is narrow minded. How would you like your favorite show to be removed because of an opinion? I am not a Farrakhan supporter, but neither do I support your example of censorship however well intended it may have been.
